Dancing Molecular Landscapes
Through teachings around the importance of giving back, I wanted to ensure I was able to show my work in a variety of ways. I don’t believe there is only one perfect way to view an artwork, and we need to leave room for differently abled people to experience in different ways. We each hold our own truths, and this was another way for me to honour that.
imagineNATIVE
June 2026 Group Exhibition, Official Selection ImagineNative “Dancing Molecular Landscapes Installation” (Toronto ON)
A 360 Dome installation, presented at imagineNative June 2026, with support from Nest Immersion.
imagineNATIVE is the world’s largest presenter of Indigenous screen content. The organization is recognized locally, nationally, and internationally for excellence and innovation in programming and as the global centre for Indigenous media arts. imagineNATIVE (legal entity: The Centre for Aboriginal Media) is a registered charity committed to creating a greater understanding of Indigenous peoples and cultures through the presentation of contemporary Indigenous-made media art including film, video, audio and digital media.
Dancing Molecular Landscapes pulls the audience into the unseen world of viruses and bacteria. Four pathogens are shown on screen, each molecule placed like beadwork into the final animation. Cedar is laid down in a circle, in the same way you place medicine down in a tipi to keep in the warmth.

VR Performance Dancing Molecular Landscapes
The VR headset was the last piece I created for this project. I wanted to incorporate elements from the Land that have been brought into other installation set-ups. The four sacred medicines are placed in small pockets inside the headset so the smell of the Land permeates the air as you watch the animation.
